Located about 5 miles East of Louth next to Manby village, just South of the B1200. RAF Manby was an expansion period airfield, opening prior to the events of World War 2 in 1938 and remained an active post-war RAF base up until 1974 when it was closed due to defence cuts.

The former technical site is now a buisiness park owned by East Lindsey District Council and on the whole has been fairly well preserved, with perhaps the exception of the old officers mess which is currently boarded up and vacant.

On the airfield side of things, the perimiter track remains, but the runways have been removed and the former hangers have been converted to grain silo's. Part of the airfield site is owned by "Manby Motorplex" who use it for recreational off-road vehicle driving (including former military vehicles) and their offices are based in the old WW2 control tower. The post war control tower on the other end of the site still remains, but has been vandalised.

Part of the airfield is used for farming, the south-side next to the post-war control tower also has a dirt-bike racing track.
